Every country's flag holds great importance and unique meaning. Sometimes a country's flag can be a representation of a historical event, a native, people, or a deeply rooted spiritual belief system. Because of that, every flag is unique and that country's citizens view it with the deepest respect and the highest honor. As such, it's important to treat every country's flag with respect. Doing so will garner respect from the citizens of the country.

Below is the Ukrainian flag. It was first adopted by the Ukrainian people in the year 1918. However, many years later the flag was switched to something else. But in 1992 the original flag, the flag you see below, was reinstated. While the below interpretation of the flag is a modern explanation, the yellow and blue colors have been associated with Ukraine for thousands of years.

Flag Description:
two equal horizontal bands of azure (top) and golden yellow represent grain fields under a blue sky
